A big thank you to Lord Vernon Coaker, Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence for not only attending the Wales National Armed Forces Day event in Pembrey today, but spending so much time with our veterans, cadets, serving armed forces and our local Polish community who keep alive the memory of the the 7 Polish airmen buried in Pembrey churchyard who helped defend us in WW2.

Pictured here with an Enigma machine…. the code the Polish helped to crack…. and then with RAF Falcon whose magnificent parachute jump was a fantastic finale to the day. Many thanks to Air Commodore Rob Woods OBE, Carmarthenshire County Council and everyone who worked hard to make today a success.
