This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
People from Llanelli and the rest of the UK were prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice so we could enjoy our way of life today.
The anniversary is an opportunity to reaffirm our shared commitment to the memory of those who served and sacrificed so much. By remembering and reflecting on their stories, we will pass on the baton to the next generation to preserve the values that were fought for during the Second World War.
