Whenever LGBT+ people have faced hostility, persecution or vilification, we have always met it with bravery and resolve.
Recently, as part of the LGBT+ History Month debate in Parliament, I underlined the point that progress is not inevitable and that struggle continues, one in which we must all play our part to ensure that we move forward and never back.
