Clear communication from Carmarthenshire County Council to pupils, parents, staff and governors of Ysgol Heol Goffa about them dropping plans for a new build school has been close to non-existent, leaving everyone uncertain about what the future may hold.
I’ve written to the Council’s Cabinet Member for Education today urging him to reconsider the decision as a matter of urgency and asking for greater openness and transparency so that people can know exactly what is going on.
There has been a huge response from the school community to calls to take the message to County Hall on Wednesday morning and the Plaid Cabinet need to listen.
