I met with rail company representatives in Parliament this week to raise several local issues with them including:

• the need for more frequent, reliable services connecting Llanelli and its nearby stations with Swansea, Cardiff and other towns and cities across Wales and the UK.

• increasing passenger capacity on existing services at busy times to cope with demand.

• timetabling problems and late or cancelled journeys.

• poor access to local stations and platforms for disabled people.

• flooding problems along local rail lines.

I will be continuing to follow up on these concerns but if you have any other specific rail related complaints that you would like me to take up with them then please get in touch and I will add them to the list.
