Still no answers from Tory Ministers on how their deal with Tata will affect local jobs and livelihoods here in Llanelli.
The company’s Trostre plant currently sources its steel from the blast furnaces in Port Talbot – something that would not be able to continue if that site goes electric arc furnace only.
The resulting disruption would raise important questions about the future of Trostre – we need the UK Government to clarify exactly what they have agreed to and what it will mean for the steel industry across South Wales.
