There has been widespread coverage lately of plans put forward by the Conservative UK Government to close ticket offices at train stations across England.

This will have an impact on disabled passengers, the elderly and others and the proposals are ill thought out, with many questions still left unanswered.

I am pleased that the Welsh Labour Government and Transport for Wales have NO plans to follow suit and that staffing at Llanelli Station and others across Wales will remain unaffected by these plans.
