For our parliamentary debate today on the Queen’s Speech, Labour chose the theme of Fairness at Work, because we think it is really important to pay people properly and to give them security at work, getting rid of the zero hours contracts & the fire & refire culture.
As well as mentioning those, I explained how our Welsh Labour Government is implementing our manifesto pledge to ensure all paid carers in Wales receive at least the Real Living Wage, currently set at £9.90 an hour.
