Sobering today to observe three minutes silence with Kidwelly Mothers’ Union as part of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, which is a global campaign calling for an end to violence against women and girls, beginning every year on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (25 November) and ending on International Human Rights Day (10 December), highlighting the need for us all to play our part in supporting survivors and preventing violence against women and girls within our society.

And thank you, Mothers’ Union for your work throughout the year, helping end gender-based violence and supporting those affected by it.
