Good news but please be patient.
Thanks to Hywel Dda health board for sharing with us today plans to share as much of the vaccine as they can get hold of ASAP.
Great that Wales & Hywel Dda have received their fair share, & you’ll have given 8,416 vaccine doses by this weekend, & expect to get 4,000 Pfizer and 2,800 Oxford by next week, but understand that the main roll-out of the vaccine to our 45,000 over 80s and health / care workers will be from 11th January. Then it will be all systems go …….
Please make sure you are registered with GP, and you will get your invitation. But also please remember the vaccine takes time to be effective and gives no guarantee you will not pass the disease on to others.
In the meantime, please stay at home unless you have to go out.
