It was a real privilege this morning to celebrate the cleaning of the duck pond in Parc Howard, and to declare it and the duck house officially open.
A huge thank you to the members of the Parc Howard Association who, under the guidance of David Bannister, took on the enormous task of cleaning the pond so clean that you can now see the bottom of it, and to Llanelli Men’s Shed for constructing a duckhouse so magnificent that it was nicknamed Duckingham Palace by Philip Thomas, Chair of the Parc Howard Association, who has overseen the project and opened the proceedings today.
It is a real asset to Parc Howard, and I know we will all enjoy spending time there watching the ducks.
