Lovely to chat “virtually” earlier today with Arwen Skinner, the newly elected UK Youth Parliament representative for Carmarthenshire.
We talked about eco campaigns, better mental health care support and much more besides as well as how young people can have a more active role in influencing decisions that affect them.
It was refreshing to hear from someone with such energy and enthusiasm who clearly has great ideas on how she can build links with young people across the county. I’m sure that she will make a huge difference in her new role.
