Thanks to the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme, we were privileged to to visit our Royal Marines undertaking cold weather training in the North of Norway, some 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle. We heard and saw at first hand a range of land, sea and air training , as well as having plenty of opportunity to discuss wider defence issues, to improve our own knowledge and understanding. A very valuable opportunity.
