Thanks to all our litter-picking volunteers, but, as well as practical litter picking sessions, local councillors Suzy Curry, Andre McPherson ,John Prosser and I are trying to tackle the causes, chasing up council street cleansing procedures, getting decent sturdy litter bins that cannot be tipped up and looking at how we can get rid of areas of overgrown brambles which catch litter and attract dumping. We all want to see a cleaner Llanelli.
