This reply from the Secretary of State for Wales makes it crystal clear that Carmarthenshire County Council (CCC) could intervene now and restore the cancelled bus services.
It says the Authority can procure a service on behalf of the school for fare-paying pupils. That’s what they should do, so pupils are not left walking miles in the cold, wet and dark.
