I am very disappointed to hear that WASPI have lost their judicial review today. This is a huge blow to millions of 1950s women who have suffered from the cruel decision to accelerate the rise in the women’s state pension age without fair notification.
It was good to meet with WASPI campaigners at the Labour Party conference to discuss the urgent need for the UK Government to provide better financial support to the women affected.
We will not give up in the fight for justice.
