It was a pleasure to welcome enthusiastic apprentices from some of Britain’s leading aerospace, defence, security and space companies at an ADS event in Parliament recently.
We heard from many talented young people working towards highly-skilled, rewarding careers, and celebrated the valuable contribution they are making to our manufacturing industries.
The UK Government must come forward with a proper industrial strategy to ensure that we use their skills to the full.
