It is good news that the County Council have scrapped the proposal to introduce pay & display parking at the Fisherman’s car park in Pembrey, after much opposition from local residents who want to keep free access to their beach.
However, I’m very concerned about plans to make the double yellow lines in the Country Park permanent. I will keep pressing the Council review this decision, and scrap their wider plans to charge for parking at coastal and country car parking spots across Carmarthenshire.
