I had a good meeting with residents in Pontyberem tonight.
Lots of local issues raised including traffic calming, pollution, flooding and access to the tip and green waste recycling – I will be in touch with the relevant authorities to try to get these issues sorted.
There was also disappointment about UK Government abandoning support for the Swansea tidal lagoon… We will keep the fight up for this with support from Mark Drakeford and the Welsh Labour Government.
