Back to school this week so no more fun with the Children’s Food Trust who have been cooking with local children at Tesco’s in Trostre during the Easter holidays. The activity is part of the Tesco Eat Happy Project which aims to foster cooking skills, encourage the use of fresh produce and develop thoughtful and healthy eating habits.
When Nia Griffith MP the store to see what was happening, she said,
“When I called in, the children were learning to chop fresh vegetables safely and to stir fry them to make chow mien. They had learned new skills, and were clearly enjoying themselves.I would like to thank the Children’s Food Trust for all the work they are doing to encourage healthy eating, and Tesco for backing the work. “
