Nia Griffith MP and Stradey residents 1

Nia Griffith MP along with Stradey residents recently met again with representatives from Taylor Wimpey to highlight and discuss ongoing issues and concerns surrounding the new Parc y Stradey build at the iconic old Scarlets Stadium site.

Nia said, “Living more or less on a building site is hard enough day in day out, with the dust, noise and constant stream of heavy lorries thundering past, quite often damaging pavements and small roads as they go but when you have to endure these things at silly o clock on a Sunday morning, when you’ve worked hard all week and you’re looking forward to a well-earned lie in then that’s no joke.”

Altogether it was a lively but positive meeting where assurances where received from Taylor Wimpey top bosses on a range of issues.  Commenting further, Nia said, “Apart from what’s right or wrong, it’s important that Taylor Wimpey for the sake of good relations listen to the long established residents of Stradey and act upon their concerns.”
