Nia Griffith MP recently had the privilege of sharing in the excitement with pupils at Heol Goffa School, as they planned and baked and decorated, all as part of a Great British Bake-off style challenge promoted by Llanelli Rotary Club – whose members came in to the school to support the event.
Commenting on the beautifully presented afternoon tea tables, Nia Griffith MP commented,
“It was all just so professional, and the pupils explained to me what was what and how they are made the delicious looking food. And what a range of items they had prepared – with each class choosing a different theme such as – Alice in Wonderland, Princess Charlotte, Cyprus – where the school has a link through a European Union programme. I was really glad that I did not have to do the judging – we left that to the very professional skills of Anna Brown of Llanelly House fame. Well done everyone – pupils, staff, Rotarians for this fantastic event”
