Speaking from the front bench as Labour’s shadow minister for Wales, Nia challenged Secretary of State Cheryl Gillan, referring to the Chancellor’s recent U-turns and saying
“……with official figures showing that borrowing is rocketing because this Government has created a double-dip recession, will the Secretary of State speak up for struggling businesses in Wales and the 130,000 people still looking for work, and ask the Chancellor to do a U-turn on his economic plans?”
