Glanymor and Tyisha Communities First Anti-Poverty Day

Speaking at the Glanymor and Tyisha Communities First Anti-Poverty Day, Nia Griffith MP said,

“As well as raising awareness about global poverty in this anti-poverty week, Communities First works all-year round to increase life chances here in Llanelli, but ultimately poverty is a political choice – a choice between the Tory-Lib-Dem Government’s policies which are hitting the poorest hardest, cutting the pensioners’ fuel allowance and choking off growth in the economy,

and Labour’s alternative five-point plan which would create jobs and reverse the government’s VAT rise to give people more money in their pockets now at this time of rocketing inflation.”
