Nia Griffith MP joined the League of Friends of Llanelli Hospital on Saturday at a dinner in the Stradey Park Hotel to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Friends.
Raising a toast to the League of Friends of Llanelli Hospital, Nia Griffith said
“I offer my very warmest congratulations and heartfelt thanks on behalf of our community to all those who, as members of the League of Friends, have devoted their time to raising money, totalling a staggering £250,000, to provide equipment for the hospital, and particular thanks goes to Mrs Eira Jones who is the only one of the founder members still active with the League – we all admire her unceasing energy and enthusiasm.“
