Nia will address the meeting on Monday 10th January 7pm in the Lliedi Suite of the Selwyn Samuel Centre when the Archbishop of Wales, the Most Rev Dr Barry Morgan, will launch the Llanelli Says Yes campaign – that is the campaign to say yes to more powers for the Assembly in the referendum on 3rd March. The meeting is open to all, and has attracted support from those with various political affiliations and none.
Voters in Wales will be asked on Thursday, March 3, to decide whether the Assembly should have the right to pass laws in areas it has powers for. Llanelli MP Nia Griffith said: “A yes vote will mean a stronger voice for Wales and will give the Assembly the tools it needs for the job.”It will cut out wasteful duplication and delays.” |
