Home > News > Nia demands support for manufacturing and renewable energy

Nia Griffith MP spoke up in the first week of the new Parliament, calling on the Tory – Lib Dem Government to protect money that has been promised for manufacturing and renewable energy.

Nia said, “There is a very real danger that if we do not offer the necessary support and incentives, manufacturers will go elsewhere and we will lose out long-term.”

The Llanelli MP is also continuing her local work – helping residents sort out problems and working on other issues such speeding in Llanedi with Councillor Steve Lloyd-Janes.

Nia is always pleased to hear from constituents, so if you have any concerns please get in touch, or attend one of the weekly advice surgeries.  These are held every Saturday (expect bank holiday weekends), between 9am and 10am at Llanelli Town Hall.  Alternatively you can click on the contact link above and find out how to get in touch via letter, email or on the telephone.
