This and ideas for developing the station were discussed at a joint meeting of the Friends of Llanelli Station, Llanelli Railway Goods Shed Trust and the Heart of Wales Development Company Ltd. We want to brainstorm and pool ideas so Llanelli can get in get in early with the new teams taking over Welsh railways from Sunday.
That is Transport for Wales who has awarded the franchise to Keolis Amey with plans for considerable new investment that we want to share. We are now hoping to meet them late November / early December.
