It is plain stupid for Trump to impose tariffs on Llanelli specialised steel that the US doesn’t even make. But another major worry is our markets being flooded with all the foreign steel that would have gone to the USA.
The UK Government should get tough with the President. Labour would work with EU to fight back with similar measures against the USA.
Don’t be surprised if sales of US goods plummet here in Llanelli.
