We very much want to see a new school for Ysgol Dewi Sant built ASAP, but Llanerch fields are unsuitable and a valuable green space.
Now that plans are under way for a new school for Heol Goffa elsewhere, we are calling on Carmarthenshire County Council decision-makers to give very serious consideration to using the full Heol Goffa site for a new Ysgol Dewi Sant.
I know that Governors and the school community are keen to have a new school as soon as possible, so this needs to be done as a matter of urgency, and then top priority given to getting on with the new buildings for both schools.
