Today I chaired a Llanelli Flood Forum meeting, where Dwr Cymru Welsh Water confirmed they are putting a 1.5m tunnel parallel to Station Road to take surface water out of the sewerage system, pressure off the main sewers and reduce the flood risk.
The Council must ensure developers provide additional capacity before they give planning permission or we’ll be back to square one.
