Following on from bringing people together to speak up for Llanelli station, Nia Griffith MP is determined to make sure that Eisteddfod visitors get a good impression of Llanelli when they arrive at the station.

Nia said,

“It is good to see the station being painted just in time for the Eisteddfod – but there seemed to be no plans to have any bunting there. So we have jumped through the usual hoops of finding out who to get permission from, and have had the help of Arriva staff to put up the bunting, which we managed to obtain from the Eisteddfod organisers. Well done everyone who has made an effort to give Llanelli a festive air for next week. I very much hope that Eisteddfod visitors will stop off in town and the surrounding area and enjoy a warm Llanelli welcome. This is the first summer that Llanelly House has been open, and of course, we have many other attractions like Penclacwydd Wetland Centre.”
