Nia presenting a certificate to representatives of Trinity Methodist Church in Kidwelly
Nia Griffith MP and Keith Davies AM recently presented Disabled Access Awards to a number of organisations which have designed or adapted their premises to be accessible to everyone. Those receiving awards included St Michaels’ Church, Dafen, ‘Presby’ Church in Llanelli, Trinity Methodist Church in Kidwelly, Cwmcerrig Farm Shop, Play King in Dafen and Mike Pugh for work on St Catherine’s walk Carmarthen.
Commenting on the awards, Nia Griffith MP said
“As well as congratulating all those who have received awards, I should also like to thank the members of the Disabled Access Association who work tirelessly, inspecting premises around the county and raising awareness about how to make buildings, new and old, accessible to all.”
