A real privilege to open the exhibition at Ffwrnes Theatre of the excellent work done by pupils from local schools in conjunction with Llanelli Youth Theatre to commemorate the end of World War One. As well as the display, members of the Youth Theatre recited World War One poetry and we were greeted by personnel and horses in WW1 medical corps costume, complete with equipment. There will be further schools’ activties on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon as well as the evening and weekend LYT performances of “Oh What a Lovely War” and street theatre on Remembrance Sunday.
