I joined Swansea MPs to meet with Virgin Media today: we are very concerned about the possible closure of their centre in Swansea with the loss of 800 jobs.
Disappointing to discover that the company had not approached Welsh Government to discuss any potential favourable conditions which could make Swansea a better option to keep open.
We asked them to consider a longer consultation period time to consider what help could be available to make a better business case for keeping Swansea.
MPs will be holding a meeting for employees next Thursday evening.
