I was delighted to be able to join dog walkers at Burry Port today to support Angela Wood and Jan Morgan in their silent firework campaign, which is about supporting public firework displays and the home use of silent fireworks (handled with care of course).
I learned that you can get pretty displays without the explosive bangs which can cause serious problems for animals and their owners. And of course people let off fireworks at all sorts of times now, not just 5th November, which means pet owners cannot necessarily prepare.
