Women from Women Against State Pension Inequality (WASPI) are organising a march to deliver a letter on the issue to Alun Cairns MP, Secretary of State for Wales, at the Wales Office, 1 Caspian Point, Caspian Way, Cardiff CF10 4DQ. Women will be meeting at 12 noon on Friday 16th September outside the front of the Senedd (the National Assembly for Wales) and marching from there round to the Wales office a couple of streets away. If you would like to come and would like to share transport, then please let me know.
Parliamentary petition – deadline Friday 7th October
Many thanks to all those of you who have already collected signatures on the parliamentary petition. Please return all petition sheets to my office, 6 Queen Victoria Road, Llanelli SA15 2TL, by Friday 7th October, as it now looks likely that we will be presenting the petition in parliament on Tuesday 11th October. Please continue to collect signatures, as the more signatures, the bigger the impact.
