Nia talking with Mr Trefor Ellis, whose late wife Aeronwy was Dylan Thomas’ daughter

The launch of the Dylan Thomas stamp, part of Royal Mail’s Remarkable Lives issue, was hosted by the Secretary of State for Wales. Welsh poet and writer Dylan Thomas is one of ten remarkable individuals from the world of arts, sport, design, economics and heroism, celebrated in Royal Mail’s ‘Remarkable Lives’ stamp issue. Nia commented

“I was delighted to see that Dylan Thomas was included in this stamp series in this year, the centenary of his birth. I hope that this centenary will be an opportunity for people to discover or rediscover the delight of Dylan thomas’ work, and that it will help to boost tourism in south-west Wales.”
