Tom Watson MP, Labour’s Campaign Coordinator, has paid an Easter visit to Llanelli. Speaking in the Selwyn Samuel Centre, he referred very modestly to his involvement in exposing the phone hacking scandal before he went on to stress to the meeting how vital it is to do everything we can to secure a Labour victory in the 2015 general election – only that way can we get rid of a failed Chancellor who puts millionaires before hard-working families, and be in a position to implement our policies which will get the economy going, give people job opportunities and put the principle of fairness at the heart of our society. In the discussion which followed, he reminded everyone that now is the time to feed in ideas to Labour’s policy-making process.

Inspired by his visit, Young Labour members are planning a series of activities throughout the summer.
