Nia joined Burry Port Mayor Mary Wenman and consort Moira Thomas to celebrate the restoration of a bus shelter in Burry Port, and unveil a plaque to the memory of former Mayor John Rees. The inspiration for the project came from local residents Fay Hampson and Elin Davies, who have worked tirelessly on rubbing down and restoring the bus shelter. They have also been very active in getting donations for the materials from local individuals, businesses and Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council, as well as very generous support from local businessman Owain Davies of Amcanu.
