Questioning the Prime Minister on his return from the recent EU summit, Nia focussed on the current economic crisis and challenged him to provide evidence of that his government is serious about increasing demand in the economy, when the latest growth figures for the UK are so disastrous.
“I find it hypocritical that the Prime Minister is quick to preach at our Eurozone neighbours, when his policies have caused a double-dip recession in the UK. In the current situation, we need growth in all the world’s major economies, and he should be leading by example and stimulating growth here in the UK, and getting people back to work.”
