Last Saturday Nia helped judge the Llanelli Musical Players’ Young Talent competition. Commenting on the evening, Nia said
“It was an absolute pleasure to listen to so many talented young people who had obviously put a lot of effort into perfecting their performances. However, it was a real challenge to select just five acts, which the audience then voted on to choose first, second and third place. As judges we would have liked to have included more young performers in our shortlist, and I wish every single one of them success in the future. It is great that the Llanelli Musical Players offer them chances like these.”
The results were: 1st Cori Melly; 2nd Poppy Thomas; 3rd Nia Rees.
