Richard Suggett, architectural historian, Nia and Dominic Conway, historian and friend of Cwrt Farm in front of the great fireplace.

The Friends of Cwrt Farm, Pembrey arrange visits for groups in order to boost funds and raise awareness of the project. Nia Griffith MP recently joined such a visit, which included a tour of St lltyd’s Church Pembrey, lunch prepared by Pat Neil and family members and a very informative guided tour of Cwrt Farm.

Commenting on the visit, Nia Griffith MP said:

“Some people are just absolutely amazing in the way that their enthusiasm and vision for what might seem an unlikely project can really inspire others. From tales of shipwrecks to squints (spyholes) and staircases, what seemed like just a few old walls really came to life with the help of local guide Dominic Conway, one of the Friends of Cwrt Farm, and visiting architectural historian Richard Suggett. Definitely a visit I’d recommend, and I wish them the best of luck in securing the necessary funds for the restoration project.”
